Narcissus is one of the popular flowers in Spring Festival.

People eat ‘gao’ or New Year cake in Spring Festival because ‘gao’ has the same pronounciation as ‘high’. They want to become ‘higher’ in the coming year.

A New Year market is also set up to sell different kinds of New Year stuff. Walking the New Year market is a popular activity for friends and family.
